Jakarta Business School Welcomes the Visit of the Malaysian Minister of Higher Education and the Malaysian Ambassador to Indonesia

Jakarta, August 8, 2024 — Jakarta Business School proudly welcomed the visit of YB Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir, Minister of Higher Education of Malaysia, and His Excellency Dato’ Syed Md Hasrin Tengku Hussin, Ambassador of Malaysia to Indonesia. This visit marks a significant moment in strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of higher education.
During the event, Jakarta Business School was represented by Dato’ Dr. H. Md. Radzi Saleh, Chairman of the Knowledge Link Islamic School (KLIS) Foundation and Commissioner of Jakarta Business School; Tan Sri Prof. Dato’ Dr. Nordin Bin Kardi, Commissioner of Jakarta Business School; and Dr. Dian Alanudin, Vice Rector of Jakarta Business School. The presence of these distinguished figures underscores Jakarta Business School’s commitment to fostering international partnerships and enhancing the quality of education.
Throughout the visit, the honorable guests engaged in discussions on opportunities to enhance academic collaboration, particularly in student exchange programs, joint research, and the development of educational programs aligned with global demands. They also toured the Jakarta Business School campus to witness firsthand the modern facilities that support international-standard learning.
YB Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and emphasized the importance of collaboration between Malaysia and Indonesia in advancing higher education in both nations. He also conveyed his confidence that this partnership would bring significant benefits to students and academics on both sides.
Meanwhile, Dato’ Syed Md Hasrin Tengku Hussin highlighted the great potential of this cooperation, particularly in leveraging each country’s resources and strengths to complement one another in education development.
Dato’ Dr. H. Md. Radzi Saleh, Tan Sri Prof. Dato’ Dr. Nordin Bin Kardi, and Dr. Dian Alanudin affirmed Jakarta Business School’s readiness to serve as a strategic partner in strengthening and advancing higher education in Southeast Asia. They also expressed optimism regarding future initiatives that will enrich students’ learning experiences and enhance the quality of research and teaching.
The visit concluded with a group photo session and an exchange of souvenirs as a symbol of friendship and collaboration between Jakarta Business School and the Malaysian delegation. Both parties agreed to maintain communication and design various collaborative programs that will positively impact education in Indonesia and Malaysia.
